The SSI Advanced Open Water programme is the new official training course designed to introduce you to different specialities while improving your diving skills. From your very first dives, the SSI Advanced Open Water programme allows you to explore different environments so you can choose the path that suits you best.

An SSI Advanced Open Water certification recognised worldwide

The SSI Advanced Open Water optimises your underwater experience and helps you progress quickly. This certification allows you to try out several specialities without immediately committing to a full course. This makes it easy to understand how each speciality enriches your explorations, whether in depth, navigation, buoyancy or wreck diving.

Choose 5 specialities to progress

During this SSI Advanced Open Water programme, you will complete 5 dives over two days with an SSI-certified instructor. You can choose from:

Deep diving

Underwater navigation

Perfect Buoyancy (PPB)

Wreck diving

Night diving

Through these exploration dives, you will test different equipment, learn new techniques and descend to depths of up to 30 metres, in accordance with SSI standards.

Flexible and progressive SSI Advanced Open Water training

The SSI Advanced Open Water programme offers you great freedom of learning, always under the supervision of an experienced instructor. What’s more, if you find a speciality that you’re passionate about, you can continue with the full training course. Your dives completed as part of the programme will count towards your future certifications.
