In just 2 days, you unlock access to depths of up to 30 metres and discover new diving environments around Koh Tao, the diver’s island. Moreover, every dive completed counts towards your future SSI certifications.

5 specialties, 2 days, your Advanced Open Water SSI programme
During your Advanced Open Water SSI course, you complete 5 adventure dives over two days with a certified instructor. Two dives are mandatory:
- Deep diving — descend to 30 metres and learn depth management
- Underwater navigation — master compass and natural navigation
You then choose 3 more from: Perfect Buoyancy (PPB), wreck diving, night diving, underwater photography, or other SSI specialties. Furthermore, if you discover a passion for one specialty, your dives already count towards the full specialty certification.
Flexible, progressive Advanced Open Water SSI training
At The Divers Boat, your training takes place in small groups with a dedicated multilingual instructor — maximum 4 divers underwater. Our two specialised boats mean your training dives and fun dives never mix — you always have the right environment for learning. In addition, all equipment is stored on board, so there’s nothing to carry.
What comes after the Advanced Open Water SSI?
Once certified, you can continue your SSI journey towards Diver Stress and Rescue and ultimately Divemaster — the first professional level. You can also complete individual SSI specialty courses to build your skills in specific areas. To book your session, contact us directly.
