Open Water SSI Koh Tao — course structure in 2 days
The training takes 2 days and is divided into three main steps:
1. Theory and knowledge — online before you arrive
You access SSI e-learning before your arrival — online lessons and instructional videos available in English and French. This means your two days on the boat are dedicated entirely to practice.
2. Confined water practice and open water dives
You start in shallow water to master buoyancy and comfort underwater. Then, you complete 4 open water dives with a certified instructor on the dive sites of Koh Tao, applying what you learned in real conditions.
3. Knowledge assessment and Open Water SSI certification
