Introductory Dive in Koh Tao — Try Scuba SSI

The SSI Try Scuba introductory dive is the simplest and safest way to take your first steps underwater. On Koh Tao, the diver’s island, you’re in the best spot in the Gulf of Thailand to enjoy this first experience. Indeed, accompanied by a certified international SSI instructor, you’ll learn the basics you need to enjoy your introductory dive with complete confidence, in a supervised environment tailored to beginners.
Thanks to our dedicated training boat, you’ll enjoy the perfect setting to learn at your own pace and make the most of your first diving experience. What’s more, all the equipment is already on board — wetsuit, mask, fins, tank, BCD and regulator — so you don’t have to carry a thing.
What to expect on your introductory dive
- Introduction to the equipment and safety rules
- Simple exercises to help you get used to breathing underwater
- Shallow-water diving (5 to 12 metres) with an instructor by your side
- Exploring the reefs and marine life of Koh Tao
- Up to 3 dives a day, depending on how you feel — exclusive to The Divers Boat
