Your Divemaster Koh Tao Training with THE DIVER’S BOAT

Our program lasts 1 to 3 months, depending on your experience and availability. It includes theory sessions, confined water practice, open water scenarios, and unlimited fun dives, allowing you to progress quickly and gain confidence.

During your Divemaster Koh Tao training, you will learn to:

  • Guide certified divers safely

  • Evaluate dive sites and identify potential risks

  • Deliver clear and professional dive briefings

  • Assist instructors during courses

  • Improve buoyancy, rescue skills, and situational awareness

This course is the first step toward becoming an SSI Open Water Instructor.

Who Can Join the Divemaster Koh Tao Program?

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18 years

  • SSI Stress & Rescue (or equivalent)

  • 40 logged dives before starting (you will reach 60 during the course)

  • Medical certificate

The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in various environments and conditions. By giving dive briefings, doing site evaluations, and leading dives, you will become a confident Dive Guide in no time. Begin your diving career working as a Professional Dive Guide or continue the qualifications for Divemaster.

Pre-requisites for the dive master training

  • CPR less than 2 years
  • O2 less than 2 years
  • Medical certificate of no contraindication to scuba diving less than one year old
  • 40 dives
  • Be 18 years old

    • “Deep Plunger 40 meters” (or equivalent)
    • “Night dive or limit visibility” (or equivalent)
