In just 2 days, you unlock access to depths of up to 30 metres and discover new diving environments around Koh Tao’s most spectacular sites. Moreover, every dive completed counts towards your future SSI certifications.<\/p>\n

Why do your Advanced Open Water in Koh Tao?<\/h2>\n

Koh Tao \u2014 known as the diver’s island \u2014 offers ideal year-round conditions for progressing in diving: warm water at 28-30\u00b0C, visibility up to 30 metres, and world-class dive sites just minutes from shore. The Advanced Open Water SSI<\/strong> unlocks sites like Chumphon Pinnacle, Southwest Pinnacle, and the military wrecks. 5 specialties, 2 days \u2014 your Advanced Open Water programme<\/h2>\n

During your Advanced Open Water in Koh Tao<\/strong>, you complete 5 adventure dives over two days with a certified SSI instructor. Two dives are mandatory:<\/p>\n

  • Deep diving<\/strong> \u2014 descend to 30 metres and learn depth management<\/li>\n
  • Underwater navigation<\/strong> \u2014 master compass and natural navigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You then choose 3 more from: Perfect Buoyancy (PPB), wreck diving, night diving, underwater photography, or other SSI specialties. Furthermore, if you discover a passion for one specialty, your dives already count towards the full specialty certification.<\/p>\n

    Flexible, progressive training with experienced instructors<\/h2>\n

    At The Divers Boat, your Advanced Open Water SSI<\/strong> training takes place in small groups with a dedicated multilingual instructor. Our two specialised boats mean your training dives and fun dives never mix \u2014 you always have the right environment for learning. In addition, all equipment is stored on board \u2014 nothing to carry.<\/p>\n

    What comes after the Advanced Open Water?<\/h2>\n

    Once certified, you can continue your SSI journey towards the Rescue Diver<\/a> and ultimately the Divemaster<\/a> \u2014 the first professional level. You can also complete individual SSI specialty courses<\/a> to build your skills in specific areas.<\/p>\n
